I finally told him how I feel about him and he signed off?

This guy always acts like he likes me. I'm not over yzing either. Every one tells me he does. But he's shy and doesn't have a lot of experience with girls. He kept asking me who I like so I told him I liked him. I didn't pour my heart out too much but I didn't just say 'you' either. But right now I'm crying hysterically because after I said that he just signed off. I'm not usually sensitive to rejection but I like him a hell of a lot and I thought he liked me. I've also been through this before. I'm always hurt. I can never find a good guy. I hate it. :( And now I fear our friendship is over. Also his sister is my best friend... so that is slightly awkward as well. Ugh.
