Should the Middle East conflict be expanded?

Now we have liberated Iraq.The winds of war looming in the east beckoning us to "go for it".Iran, caught in a strategic pincers movement,expecting an attack,is begging for an enlargement of hostilities.More troops.A lot more troops,are moving in to battle.Doesn't sound like peace to me.
