I have to play a song for my theology cl tomorrow. It doesn't have to be a tribute to God or anything insanely religious, people usually choose songs that are inspirational or hopeful. Now, whenever I try to download anything, such as a game, antivirus software, a movie from Netflix, or even listen to a CD, it works for a little while, but then locks up completely. I can't use Cntrl-Alt-delete, or anything else. The mouse doesn't work; I have to turn the power off manually and restart the computer. I'm able to play the games on Pogo, but that's about it. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this. I cleaned the fan already, and it didn't make any difference. I would appreciate any ideas of things I can do myself to maybe figure this out, as I can;t really afford to take it for repairs at this time. Thanks in advance.

What is YOUR Thanksgiving Tradition(s)?

First, let me say it's my very favorite holiday, even though it wears me out but here's how my day starts. I live in the mid-west so it will most likely be cold. I'll get up about 5:00 a.m. and make some coffee. While the house is dark and others are sleeping, I will get my turkey into the oven. I will have made all of my desserts the day before. After I put the turkey in, I'll find something on tv, build a fire in the fireplace and have a cup of coffee. When the parades come on, I'll watch them or find a holiday show cause there are a lot on beginning Thanksgiving. Later, when everyone is up, I'll be working in the kitchen preparing all of the side dishes and there will be football on tv and hopefully all of our family guests have arrived. It'll be a little chaotic but that's what it's all about. I hope we can eat around 1:00 and later in the evening, have leftovers, if we're hungry. My Christmas tree will already be up for the family to get into the holiday spirit and after we eat, the ladies and girls all gather around the kitchen table and go through the black friday ads to see where we want to shop. That evening, after everyone has gone home, I'll crash in front of the tv and watch a holiday movie. Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Why does it take my computer HOURS for a DVD to burn, but people tell me it takes them minutes?

My new gerbil is sick, her twin sister died?

I bought a young female gerbil from petsmart to introduce to my other gerbil of 3 months. I used split cage method. Two days later the new one started obsessively licking her own and had diarrhea, she had her fur all puffed out and could only wobble by the end of the second day. She was dead the morning after. I went back to petsmart and used the exchange policy to purchase her identical twin. Its been a day since I bought her, she's had no contact with the older one, and she too is now licking her obsessively. I'm really paranoid she's going to die too and I don't know the cause. I've owned 10 gerbils and they all died of old age at 3 or 4 years. I have no idea what is ailing these new arrivals.

I've had this old typewriter lying around for awhile now, and I never use it. I've decided to sell it, but have no idea how old it is or how much to ask for it. Its when he even sleeps now which I think the heart murmurs kickin in (since hes never had meds for his heart murmur). His back legs are problematic He doesnt sit normally most of the time now. 1 leg sometimes is straight out & the other sittin normal (for ex:). I think it might b time to put him down, but its hard hes been in my life, my shadow & my love- a son. I kno its better to take him out of pain

I am wondering if a weeping cherry will survive the winters in Zone 4. Minneapolis is smack dab in the zone 4 according to the maps, but I do believe that the cities offer more warmth in the winters. Problem Lunging X racer?

Track horses do not know how to perform domestic tasks as they were never taught these things. They are usually fearful and unconfident because of the abusive and limited lives they have always had and this horse endured it for a long time. He needs patience and lots and lots of basic ground work. Don't start out trying to lunge him. It is not a natural activity, horses don't know how to do it innately, and it is really insulting and boring, especially to a horse as smart as a TB. I would never lunge my horses. I do teach them to go away from me, circle me and return when I ask, but not mindless running in circles looking to the outside of the circe. After about 4 rounds, they check out. It is amazing to me when I see people lunging forever, then when they leave the round pen, their horse runs them over. They have no control or communication and don't even recognize what just happened and what it meant to the horse. That said, ground work, ground work, ground work. This horse needs to be re-started like a green colt because he was never taught any basics so that is what he is in his head, age is irrelevant. I have dealt with this for years so am very familiar with what you describe. Be calm and patient and take the time it takes. Clinton Anderson has a colt starting educational video/dvd that may be helpful to you if you want to re-start the horse yourself. It is not easy, but it is rewarding to have this knowledge under your belt. You will be able to handle almost anything and lots of people will come to you for istance when they have problems. The key is helping the horse. Be safe. Best of luck to you. (Personally, I would do the basic stuff and forget about lunging. It serves no purpose and solves nothing. Work on sending and asking your horse back instead. Look at the info and judge for yourself. It totally makes the most sense for both of you. You will have to dedicate a lot of time and energy to do this but your reward will be so worth it and your horse will be so much happier and settled.) OK, stopping now. That is when you need to resolve the conflict not when the car gets there, so the dealer was at fault here and should refund the deposit, because the contract had been breached upon ordering the wrong engine. Besides that the dealer can stock and resell that car as new as long as the person never took delivery. The funny part os this scenario is the 3.8L gets better gas mileage than the 3.1L. The salesman needs to know what he is selling especially when dealing with specific orders as this. The dealer loses nothing but this sale and they need inventory on the lot to sell anyways

Canadian geese deserve the right to live just like any other beings on this planet.
