What could cause numb hand and fingers after yoga shoulder stand?

After doing a shoulder stand for 1-2 minutes, then going into the plough, I had a numb right hand and fingers. About 2 hours after cl my fingertips are still numb. It is not extremely painful, just a strange feeling. What might cause this?
