What do you think of inclusion?
I saw the opposite side of inclusion--my son was an excellent student, but his needs were often ignored because the teacher was too involved helping lesser qualified students or handling discipline problems. My son's daycare could not turn away handicapped children, but having such children in the clroom required additional personnel, which ultimately mean higher prices for everyone. One CP student had a full-time aide igned to him to change his diaper, wheel him from one place to another, etc. That meant that the teachers did not get the aide's istant with other needs.
