What Breed of Dog was he?

I got my sweetest doggie ever, Rocky at the humane society about a year and a half ago! Sadly i went on vacation and left him with my grandfather and he got into squirrel poison! I have never had a dog that loving and not to mention sweet with my 6 mth old daughter! I'd like to get another dog like him problem is i dont know what kind of dog he was! Please help me!
