Trying to get pregnant... Please help?

So i had a miscarriage last month, this month i am doing the same thing - prednisone and menopur shots. My follicles are not really growing fast like they did the month before. Any ideas why? I am not a smoker but i did have a few this last month after i found out. Can that have this big of an affect?
