Why is is that fathers think they can claim the child on their taxes just because they pay support?

Why do fathers who pay child support believe that they have the right to a child tax exemption just because they pay support????Hello, the child support doesn't cover everything....who do you think pays for the rest of the child's expenses?The mother, AS WELL as actually RAISING the kid every single day.!!!They are the one's who deserve the exemption!!!!This is a not a general rant, just one directed at father's who don't do sh*t for their kids except pay child support that the court orders them too, and still feel they should get some kind of exemption for that.
