I've started a nonprofit to help end hunger in Africa. Any fundraising ideas with results in the $1,000's?

Looking to send about 10 people to Africa to help end hunger and educate on HIV/AIDS.. Any ideas on how to raise thousands or tens of thousands with this number of people helping?
